Patient Information
Your First Visit
Please arrive 15–20 minutes early to allow time to complete a New Patient Form before your appointment.
Initial Examination
First visits are typically booked for one hour. We will perform a comprehensive oral examination (COE), complete with digital X-rays.
During this appointment, we will assess your medical and dental health and develop a baseline that will inform your future personal treatment plan.
Treatment Plan
Based on your history and examination, your dentist will develop a dental treatment plan for you. Your dentist will also take the time to answer any questions you have about your dental health and treatment options.
Insurance & Financing
At North Oshawa Dental, we want to make managing payment and insurance as simple as possible so you can focus on your oral health. Our team is happy to answer any questions you may have about costs or coverage before your appointment.
Insurance Claims
We offer direct billing for most insurance providers to help make your visit more convenient. Our administrative team can also help you understand the details of your plan, including what treatments may be covered and any out-of-pocket costs.
Payment Methods
The full treatment cost (or the patient portion if direct-billing to your insurance) must be paid at the time of your appointment. We accept payment by cash, debit, e-transfer, or most major credit cards.
Financing
At North Oshawa Dental, we offer flexible in-house financing options with 0% interest to help you achieve your dental goals. We also offer financing with Lendcare.
Support for Anxious Patients
Dental anxiety is common and can often prevent people from getting the care they need to maintain a healthy smile. If this sounds like you, we want to help.
The team at North Oshawa Dental offers nitrous oxide and oral sedation options to help you feel relaxed during your dental appointments.
